The fantasy romance, All in the Other World, is expected to start filming in August, according to information released at a press conference in Beijing on Monday.

Co-produced by Shenyang Junhua Asset Management Co., Ltd and Beijing Yaoshi Xingchen Culture Media Co., Ltd, the film mainly tells a redemption story of a man and woman in the "other" world.

There is a legend that as long as those people who are going to die can travel across the rainbows in the deserts in the "other" world, then he or she can come back to normal life. The female lead in the film who is eager to live and determined to find a rainbow meets the male protagonist  and together they experience a totally different journey.

According to the director, Gu Bin, All in the Other World sets out to exemplify the meaning of life in the real word through the suffering and regaining of new lives by the protagonists.

The director also said that the film combines Chinese fantasy movie elements and the expression skills often used for western science fiction movies. "Movie-goers will enjoy the sweetness of romance and a visual feat at the same time," Gu said.

The film won the support of the Chifeng Tourism Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and will be filmed in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

It is expected that the film will hit the big screen at the end of this year.
