The world has in the past century witnessed scientific evolution, environmental changes, population increases and resource shortages, which bring both opportunities and challenges to humanity.

And one of the concerns for people now is how to better educate their children and prepare them for emerging problems.

So, Design Society, a cultural institution based in Shekou district of Shenzhen, will address the issue by organizing Weekend of Educational Experience on June 8 and 9, which includes a variety of programs for children and parents.

The event, as part of the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Culture Industries, will present forums, a fair of educational products, workshops and performances, enabling both professionals and ordinary visitors to find solutions to creative learning and education.

Meanwhile, the institution plans to set up Design Society Edu, a new program in which it will collaborate with a dozen communities, schools, non-profit organizations and enterprises to design more regular educational courses for students.
