The giant female panda Sijia celebrated her 13th birthday with nearly 1,000 fans at the Yabuli ski resort in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province on Monday.

Along with flowers and a birthday cake featuring her favorite fruits, the female panda also received a surprise from her keepers: a colorful castle covered with artificial snow.

Sijia enjoyed playing in the wintry wonderland.
