A panda house will come down the pike to offer immersion experience for visitors with the animal.

The facility is a joint effort between Airbnb and the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and will be completed in 2020.

It will cover 500 square meters in the Chengdu base.

Resembling a laying giant panda, the house features green and suitable design and allows visitors to watch panda's daily activities and pick up the history of panda.

Experiences for children will also be in place, including panda slide and ball pit.

Airbnb and the Chengdu giant panda base reached a 10-year cooperation agreement in 2018, and both sides will continue publicizing panda culture in the future.
