Villagers build new life after relocation

A total of 853 poverty-stricken households from across the Xinghai county of Hainan Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Northwest China's Qinghai province, have shaken off poverty after moving from pasture areas with poor infrastructure to the biggest relocation settlement center in the county. Access to tap water, electricity, asphalt roads, buses and stable jobs all have reached the new settled residents.
Yang Zongtai, 43, a former herder, tells us what changes have taken place in the lives of the people after relocation.
