Hermes brings innovation to new autumn/winter collection
The French luxury house Hermes released its 2020 autumn/winter collection recently in its Shanghai store. With the theme of Innovation in the Making, the new collection includes scarves, leather goods, ties, belts, shoes and accessories.
One eye-catching 90-centimeter square scarf called Formula Chic features an antique car on one side and a Formula One racing car on the other.
The women's "Hermes Della Cavalleria" Tadelakt and the men's "Haut a Courroies 40 Western" Togo both were inspired by western cowboys from the United States, reminding people of Hermes' original ties to horsemanship.
Nathalie Rolland-Huckel designs Passifolia pottery and porcelain dishes and bottles. Green trees, leaves and flowers are painted on the dishes to create the impression of a lush rain forest on the dinner table.
The perfume created by Christine Nagel was inspired by the gardens in Venice.
