Why is the Communist Party of China's governance significant for not just China but also the rest of the world?

Early in November, after observing the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee, which reviewed the CPC's experience and achievements in the past century, Jinith de Silva, president of Sri Lanka China Society, said China's achievements and proposals for a better future of the world have been increasingly acknowledged by the world.

He drew such a conclusion on the basis of what he witnessed in China.

Silva also said that China has taken actions to cooperate with the international community and China's proposals such as the Belt and Road Initiative have improved connectivity between countries and continents and promoted the development of developing countries and areas.

Besides, Silva stressed that China's efficiency in epidemic prevention and control can play an important role in global economic recovery. Silva said that under the CPC's leadership, China will continue making important contributions for its people, the world's economic development and in the fight against the pandemic.
