The national exhibition area has attracted high popularity during the public days of 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services from Sept 3 to 5 in Beijing as national exhibitors roll out multiple activities, ycwb.com reported.

In Japan pavilion, fortune cats ornaments, dharma figurines, tableware, food, drinks and cosmetics are displayed and for sale. "We had to go abroad to buy these things, but now we can buy them here at CIFTIS," said a visitor surnamed Tong.

In South Korea pavilion, besides providing physical products, the exhibitor has prepared hanbok, traditional Korean clothing, for the public to wear for photographs. The South Korean embassy has also arranged traditional song and dance performance.

United Arab Emirates, as the guest of honor and a newcomer, exhibited its services in airline, finance and culture. The COVID-19 vaccine jointly developed by UAE and Sinopharm Group is displayed at its most conspicuous place.

Visitor can taste Irish liqueur and whiskey for free, enjoy discounted cashmere scarf from Pakistan, buy gemmy stamps from Liechtenstein and handicrafts from Malaysia.

The internationalization rate of CIFTIS this year has reached 20.8 percent, up nearly 3 percentage points compared with the last edition, according to Sheng Qiuping, vice-minister of commerce.

The national exhibition area in the China National Convention Center testifies to the international influence of CIFTIS. This year, the 8,000-square-meter area for nations' pavilions has welcomed 71 countries and international organizations.

They consist of 59 countries, such as Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as 12 international organizations, including UNESCO and the World Meteorological Organization.
