Party building efforts paid off
Years of Party building efforts have paid off, proved by the fact that Party organizations and officials at all levels have succeeded in tackling absolute poverty, combating the COVID-19 epidemic and promoting socioeconomic development, a senior official from the Work Committee of the Central Party and State Organs said on Thursday.
Zou Xiaodong, deputy secretary of the committee, said in a group interview on the sidelines of the ongoing 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that the committee has carried out a deep education campaign to help the Party and State organs satisfy the needs of the people and reassure the Party's central committee.
He said that Party organizations at all levels have set up 6,919 learning groups for young people.
The quality of Party building at grassroots-level organizations has also been enhanced, especially in the strengthening of the political functions of the Party branches and in the deep integration of Party building into daily professional work, Zou said.
