President Xi Jinping:

? Ties between China and Chile have led the way in China's relations with countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, becoming a model for the win-win cooperation between China and developing countries.

? The two sides should offer each other staunch support and respect the development paths selected by their own people. China stands ready to work with Chile to promote the continuous development of a bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.

? China stands ready to conduct closer friendly exchanges at various levels with Chile, step up exchanges in experience of national governance, further align development strategies and promote the high-quality building of the Belt and Road.

? Both nations should deepen pragmatic cooperation in the economy, trade, investment and agriculture and explore new growth engines for cooperation in public health, clean energy and the digital economy.

? It is important to bolster bilateral coordination in multilateral mechanisms including the United Nations and APEC, carry forward the common values of humankind, practice true multilateralism and promote the building of a community with a shared future for APEC and mankind.

Chile President Gabriel Boric:

? Xi has led China to great achievements in development, enabling hundreds of millions of people to shake off poverty and setting an example for developing nations.

? Chile firmly adheres to the one-China policy, and is willing to borrow experience from China on national governance.

? The two sides should deepen cooperation on infrastructure, poverty reduction and the digital economy, and Chile welcomes investment and cooperation with more Chinese companies.

? Chile supports China's accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement, and the nation is willing to step up exchanges with China.
