CDFG, Qeelin unveil Spring Festival art installation
Recently, China Duty Free Group in cooperation with Qeelin, a high-end jewelry brand owned by the world-class luxury group Kering, successfully held an art installation exhibition themed on the Spring Festival at Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, presenting consumers a richer duty-free shopping experience. The exhibition was part of a series of campaigns launched by CDFG stores to celebrate the holiday.
The exhibition was located at the square in front of the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex. From the air, the complex appeared to be a Chinese flowering crabapple in full bloom with a hint of Qeelin red softly radiating from within. Decorations such as wulu (gourd), clouds, fireworks and red lanterns warmly welcomed visitors from around the world. Through this celebration, CDFG and Qeelin conveyed best wishes for peace, happiness and good luck to all consumers.
The exhibition took the classic wulu shape of Qeelin, fashioned into the first series of fine jewelry launched by the brand. The Wulu series, symbolizing "happiness and prosperity", is inspired by the number "8", the shape of the mascot gourd. Eight is a lucky number in China because "8" is associated with wealth, and the hollowed-out red agate design replicates that shape for this exhibition.
