Beverage brand works with State broadcaster to promote cultural heritage
Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Ltd and China Central Television recently signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing that aims to work together through cultural programs, variety shows and advertising content.
The company also unveiled the customized designs on its herbal tea Wanglaoji and Ciningji Roxburgh rose juice, in collaboration with CCTV's popular cultural TV program National Treasure. The program tells the stories and history behind Chinese cultural relics from its national key museums such as the Palace Museum.
Six national treasures with auspicious meanings were chosen to be used in the eight new designs of the beverage.
The two parties also plan to unveil more new designs inspired from cultural relics and traditional festivals in the future.
They aim to promote traditional Chinese culture and create a stronger national brand and help more young people understand Chinese cultural heritage.
