Sichuan culture showcased in Sydney
The China National Tourism Office in Sydney, in collaboration with the Network of International Culturalink Entities and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, launched an online event showcasing the culture of Sichuan province on July 14. The event was hosted at the tourist office's website and social media platforms.
The event was organized to celebrate the upcoming 31st Summer World University Games, scheduled to take place in provincial capital Chengdu from July 28 to Aug 8.
The China Tourism Office in Sydney has curated a collection of photos and videos with a focus on the city's culture. These captivating visuals were shared with audiences in Australia and South Pacific Island countries.
During the games, athletes from universities worldwide will converge in Chengdu, the birthplace of Bashu culture, a regional culture centered in Sichuan and Chongqing. The city has also been named as a national historical and cultural city, a Culture City of East Asia and China's best tourism city.
