Swiss air quality tech company IQAir confident in the Chinese market
Swiss air quality technology company IQAir sees big opportunities in the Chinese market amid the growing demand for products that can help better manage the indoor air environment.
Frank Hammes, global CEO of IQAir, said "The Chinese market is a large, relatively stable and resilient market for IQAir. We remain positive in the economic outlook."
According to him, the company is participating for the fourth time in the ongoing China International Import Expo in Shanghai. This year, IQAir is focusing on ESG - environmental, social and governance - and sustainability. Meanwhile, the company is launching its platform for companies to showcase their commitment to healthy indoor air quality at work. We are also introducing our newest, most effective air purifier with long-term formaldehyde removal technology.
"China is well positioned in important sectors that facilitate a global transition to a greener, more sustainable power generation and transport. We think that growing health consciousness in China will be a positive impulse for the healthcare industry and for companies such as ourselves that help to provide clean and healthy living and working environments," Hammes said.
The senior executive added that transparency, stability and predictability are some of the most important factors for companies entering or expanding in any country. "China has a great chance to create more opportunities for both domestic and foreign companies by safeguarding all three of these factors."
Meanwhile, with China's modernization, more people and organizations are thinking about their health and the health of the planet. "We believe that there are increasing opportunities in the health and green sectors in China. IQAir looks forward to making a positive impact in both fields, by helping to improve air quality in buildings and providing companies with information that is actionable for ESG and sustainability."
The company has a system called IQAir's Smart Air Quality Management System which is designed to put corporate governance and employee care into practice by taking the invisible and intangible subject of air quality at the workplace as a starting point - through big data air quality monitoring, air pollution control and data visualization, ultimately transforming it into a transparent, disclosable and credible corporate ESG solution.
