Shizuishan farmers use intelligent technology to revitalize livelihood
The staff also help replace the aging knife gate valves, sockets, switches and irrigation equipment, and guide the farmers to utilize waterproof lighting fixtures and leakage protectors, so as to ensure electrical safety in all respects.
Besides, the company said it developed customized services for all the local villages, based on the different characteristics of their agriculture. It has also built a series of service stations to provide "one-stand services" for the local farmers.
Meanwhile, an intelligent patrol system has been officially utilized in the local Taole 220 kV substation, which could better safeguard the substation's normal operation and ensure a stable power supply to the local farmers.
Equipped with 79 HD PTZ Cameras and six infrared cameras, the new system has increased the inspection efficiency by about 80 percent and shortened the time for hazard detection and elimination by 30 minutes.
High-quality inspections can be conducted even in extreme weathers, such as strong winds and heavy rainfalls, and thereby the safety of relevant staff can be largely guaranteed.
The power supply company said it will strive to equip all the substations in Shizuishan with the intelligent patrol system in the first half of this year.
