Hangzhou digital art show adds dimensions to senses
The West Lake scenic area, in the heart of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, has entered one of its most beautiful moments, enriched by floral blossoms, lush plants, tranquil waters and mist-covered mountains to generate poetic feelings.
Meanwhile, a world of futuristic senses has descended on this historic region — China Academy of Art is staging Hello World: Digital Art China at its campus at the Nanshan Road right at the lakeside.
The show at the CAA Art Museum through June 3 navigates the digital developments since the beginning of the 20th century, and how they have been integrated into the creation of art and how the collaboration between technology and art and design has been applied in different social sectors.
The exhibition is to not only bring to the audience novel experiences of art but also to inspire people the imagination of the new possibilities of the current world as AI is merged even more deeply into the many aspects of daily lives, and meanwhile, to envisage the future world.
