Kazakh President Tokayev a distinguished alumnus of Beijing Language and Culture University

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the inauguration of a Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) branch in Astana, Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
Tokayev, a sinologist who speaks fluent Chinese, is a distinguished alumnus of BLCU. He took a short training course there from 1983 to 1984.
