Three teachers, who educate pupils and students in different provinces, recently visited the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, to sit for statues to be made of them. It was the latest endeavor of the museum's long-term public education program, launched in s 2018. This aims to invite accomplished figures engaging in different professions to the museum, make statues of them, and tour these works around the country to promote their spirit of professionalism and commitment.

An Huixia, from Taiyuan, Shanxi province, has been working at a kindergarten for more than three decades, and also devoted to improving the preschool education in the suburbs and the rural areas.

Zhou Xiaoling, a primary school headmaster in Wuzhong, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, has been hailed for her efforts into the research of classroom reforms.

Zhou Shuqiang, an associate professor at the Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic in Sichuan province, has trained skillful technicians over the years through a master program he founded.

Beginning in 2021, the museum has also shown statues of the program at cultural venues around the country. For example, they took 42 works to Kashgar, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, in July and August.
