"The power generation vehicle has been connected, and the equipment is in good condition, allowing for grid connection for power supply." On December 3, at the reconstruction site of the "bottleneck" section of the 10kV Xuzhai 103 line in Damiao town, Taihe county, the State Grid Fuyang Power Supply Company upgraded the line by utilizing a medium voltage power generation vehicle to ensure uninterrupted power supply, achieving "zero impact" on the power consumption of 2,400 households in the maintenance area during the work.

Due to the extensive power outage and the large number of photovoltaic users, this work is constrained. If construction were to proceed during the day, it would be necessary to shut down all photovoltaic power generation for hundreds of users within the guaranteed power supply range, thereby affecting the generation of green energy. Therefore, the working time has been scheduled for 5 pm, during the low photovoltaic output period.

On the day of the operation, a medium-voltage generator truck and an insulated bucket truck slowly drove into Damiao town. Fences were set up, cables were connected to towers, and insulating blankets were laid... With the roar of the power car starting up, the medium-voltage generator truck was successfully connected to the grid, providing continuous power supply for 7 hours during the construction period.

This time, the company utilized a 10kV medium voltage generator in Damiao to ensure power supply. This not only resolved the "bottleneck" issue at poles 72 to 82 of the 10kV Xuzhai 103 trunk line, but also ensured normal power consumption for users in the maintenance area. The resolution of the "bottleneck" problem has effectively enhanced the interconnection and inter-backup capabilities of the regional distribution network, thereby alleviating the heavy load issues at the main transformers of the 35 kV Lixing substation and the 110 kV Shuangmiao substation. This work has provided new insights and accumulated experience for future maintenance of the distribution network using medium voltage generators.
