Haikou Meilan International Airport is hosting Qiong opera, coconut shell carving, calligraphy and clay sculpting. Sanya Phoenix International Airport and Qionghai Boao International Airport feature multiple New Year photo spots in their terminals to create a festive atmosphere.

The Qiongzhou Strait anticipates a passenger transport volume of 4.97 million and a vehicle transport volume of 1.18 million. About 2.36 million passengers are expected to enter the island, averaging 59,000 daily, with around 580,000 vehicles entering, averaging 14,500 daily.
