China's logistics industry recovers quickly 
Revenue of China's logistics enterprises grew slightly in 2009 over the previous year, indicating the sector is recovering quickly from the economic downturn, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said on Jan 12.

Statistics from the NDRC showed a steady rise in demand for logistics services, as total national revenue of the logistics industry turned into a 2 percent increase in the first nine months of 2009, compared with the same period of 2008 - up from a 3.3 percent drop in the first quarter and a 0.8 percent decline in the first half. The output of the industry in the first three quarters grew 4 percent year-on-year, 1.9 percentage points higher than in the first half...
