TAL Education Group, a leading K-12 tutoring service provider, joined hands with aliyun.com in Beijing today to serve the public education system and promote a balanced education development in China.

Through cooperation with aliyun.com, a cloud computing platform under Alibaba Group, TAL hopes to make its best educational resources accessible to students at public schools across the country and to contribute to the development of China’s basic education, according to Bai Yunfeng, TAL president.

He said TAL is dedicated to changing education through the power of technology and has spent hundreds of millions of yuan annually in the research and development of teaching and learning products. These include online courses and practice, as well as online testing and evaluating systems.

Yu Li, TAL vice president, said these resources have covered millions of students at public schools in more than 100 cities across China.

"With strong technological support from aliyun.com, we hope to build up a bigger platform, which could cover more schools and students and meanwhile meet their diverse needs," she said.
