Govt launches website to counter threat posed by cults

chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2017-09-22 18:18

A website, www.chinafxj.cn, supervised by the office for the prevention and handling of cults under the State Council, was officially launched online on Sept 22, together with its weibo and WeChat account. The online signing activity of "Say No to Cult" on WeChat started at the same time.

The website releases cult-related issues and exposes the dangers of cult. Psychological counseling and a service helping search for missing family members would also be provided.

To make it convenient for the public to report cult and illegal criminal activities, a special report area is also provided.
