Among the gifts President Xi Jinping has received from foreign friends over the years, a commemorative plaque made of steel from Serbian workers epitomizes the iron-clad friendship between Serbia and China.
"Reading is my biggest hobby. It's a way of life for me," Xi Jinping once said. As a fan of books since he was young, Xi established the belief of dedicating himself to the motherland and the people in his early years from reading.
