Bronze and porcelain are among the items unearthed in an ancient tomb that had recently been discovered along the Jingmen section of the Menghua Railway in Central China's Hubei province.

Based on evidence gathered, archaeologists were able to conclude that the tomb could date back about 2,300 years to the late Warring States Period (475-221 BC) and early Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24

Archaeologists said that the tomb may provide solid evidence to study the transition of the social and natural environment in the area.
