波蘭總統(tǒng)選舉第二輪投票10月23日結(jié)束。初步計(jì)票結(jié)果顯示，現(xiàn)任華沙市長(zhǎng)、法律與公正黨總統(tǒng)候選人卡欽斯基以超過半數(shù)以上的得票獲勝。據(jù)選票統(tǒng)計(jì)結(jié)果顯示，卡欽斯基獲得54.47%的選票，其競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手中右翼政黨公民綱領(lǐng)黨候選人圖斯克的得票率為45.53%。

這里的runoff指的是“決定性競(jìng)選”，用英文解釋就是a final election to resolve an earlier election that did not produce a winner。Runoff election也可表達(dá)此意。Runoff vote則表示“決選投票”。在選舉中還有其它一些術(shù)語，如：a general election（普選）。
此外，runoff還可指“徑流”，如：China's total runoff volume of rivers and creeks is 2,700 billion cubic meters. （我國河流的總徑流量為27,000億立方米。）
