3月8日的鐘聲就要敲響，每年的這個時(shí)候，總會有男士對身邊的年輕女士說：“祝你節(jié)日快樂！” 也是每年的這個時(shí)候，總會聽到那些女士回答：“我有那么老嗎？”
三八國際婦女節(jié)，到底是為誰設(shè)的節(jié)日？難道是為七八十的老太？還是為專門提醒那些結(jié)了婚、看上去老氣橫秋的女人？
2007年3月8日，我們試圖以最清晰明了的手法、從不同側(cè)面向您傳遞這樣一個信息：國際婦女節(jié)是全世界所有女人的節(jié)日，只要您在性別上可以被界定為“女”性，您就有權(quán)利和義務(wù)來接受來自各方的祝福。
同時(shí)，在您享受幸福和關(guān)愛的時(shí)候，請把目光投向這么一群弱勢群體，讓我們對世界說：“女子割禮，NO！榮譽(yù)殺害，NO！男性暴力，NO！”

 Aside from a brief history of the International Women's
Day (IWD), this article introduces to you the symbolic meaning of IWD,the
poem of "Bread & Roses " related to IWD and the themes for IWD
that UN puts on the top agenda of the year. Come on, lets enjoy the
knowledge related to IWD.

 It is said that the world would not enjoy
permanent peace since men were born warriors; whereas others say that
there exists a mighty power to resist the eruption so long as women are
living. Here we introduce to you a project named after
Aristophane's anti-war comedy Lysistrata, that is, Let's make
love, not war!
有人說，世界上只要有男人存在就會有戰(zhàn)爭；也有人說，世界上只要有女人存在，就會有遏制戰(zhàn)爭的力量……不管這些說法正確與否，2006年婦女節(jié)，我們向您介紹國際上一個名為“International
Lysistrata
Project”的工程。“Lysistrata”的名字可追溯到古希臘時(shí)代的一部偉大的戲劇，意為“為了促使戰(zhàn)爭早日結(jié)束，女性們對男性施行‘性’罷工”……
關(guān)注“弱勢群體”
 Although the prayers for peace and gender equality have
been ringing in the 21th century, there pravails such customs as
"hornor killings" and "female circumcision" in some other local
regions.
These hideous traditions are unfortunately imprinted on
the victims' memories, and meanwhile, they raise the alarm to the
world that women issues are far from being addressed.
In 1991, a
handful of men in Canada launched the "white ribbon" camaign,
which communicates the instimulating sign -- men
are opposed to sone other men's violence against
women.
21世紀(jì)的今天，世界和平、兩性平等已經(jīng)深入到全人類最真誠的祈禱聲中……
可是，在世界的某些角落，依然存在著某種陋習(xí)——“女子割禮”、“榮譽(yù)殺害”——愚昧的風(fēng)俗不僅僅在受害者心頭留下永遠(yuǎn)的痛，也時(shí)時(shí)提醒著已經(jīng)擁有幸福的男人和女人：關(guān)注女性問題。1991年，由一群加拿大男性公民倡議發(fā)起的“白絲帶”活動，就是關(guān)注女性、保護(hù)女性的最好例證。
慶祝方式多姿彩
 Women's Day marks the role of women in both the past
and the present. However, the day is not a one-day routine.
The real challenge lies in the spontaneous flow of feelings --
honoring and celebrating womanhood on a particular March 8 only to forget
its importance the next day is sacrilegious.
“國際婦女節(jié)”意在凸顯女性在社會中的重要角色。我們最大的挑戰(zhàn)在于：3月8日這天，各種慶祝活動大張旗鼓；3月8日之后，一切“絢麗”關(guān)注煙消云散……
