Dianshan Lake town, a mellow water town in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, has perfect conditions for farming.
The town's farming co-op has developed a brand called Dianxiaoai with three product lines –Dianshang Meipin, Dianshang Liangpin and Dianshang Jingpin– to sell fruit, vegetables, and rice. All the products are grown in local farms with the minimal use of pesticides.
The fruit products include sweet persimmon, pears, grapes and yellow peaches. Yellow peach is one of the three delicacies in Dianshan Lake town. The other two are corn and rice.
A recent rice harvest will enter the market without being overly processed or polished so customers can enjoy the original taste of the grains.
