BEIJING - Italian soccer star Alessandro Nesta expressed his bid to improve Chinese soccer level as he came to Beijing to participate in a teenager soccer trainning program.

Nesta's Italian counterpart Marco Materazzi and Spanish International Michel Salgado were also present to attend the training class and help promote the youth program.

"I have played soccer for more than 20 years with rich experience, I am delighted to have this platform, I hope I can bring Italian soccer elite to China," the 2006 World Cup winning member said.

Nesta, formly of AC Milan, also talked about the predicament that his old owner now faced, and thought there was only a little chance for them to move up to the third place and march into the Champions League next season.

"Due to the entire economic conditions of Europe, both of Inter and Milan have surplus money to introduce good players, this is the root of the problem," he said.

It is Nesta's second time to China, he has claimed the 2011 "Super Cup" with Milan in China's national stadium "Bird's Nest". And he didn't play down the prospect of becoming a coach in China just like his former teammate in Italy national side Fabio Cannavaro, he said: "Why not? Just call me."

Nesta, tipped as the best defender in the soccer history annoucned his retirement in 2013.
