Xi busy meeting world leaders
PRESIDENT XI JINPING:
- China supports all parties in Sudan to continue to push for steady political transition through dialogue and consultation, opposes interference by external forces in Sudan's internal affairs, and will continue to speak up for Sudanese friends on the international stage.
- China stands ready to work with Sudan to consolidate friendship and mutual trust between the two countries and support each other on their own core interests.
- China is willing to continue to develop cooperation with Sudan in the fields of petroleum, agriculture and mineral development, and encourages Chinese companies to participate in construction projects in Sudan to help its socioeconomic development.
- China is ready to strengthen cooperation under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and intensify coordination and cooperation on multilateral platforms, including the United Nations, to safeguard the shared interests of developing countries and uphold international fairness and justice.
