Cybersecurity recruitment fair offers over 2,000 jobs at Beijing university
A recruitment fair targeting cybersecurity graduates was held Thursday at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, where 88 employers offered 2,121 job positions.
The event drew participation from state-owned enterprises, large private companies, and innovation-driven small businesses, primarily in the sectors of internet, cybersecurity, finance, and technology.
More than 2,000 graduates from 62 universities and colleges in Beijing submitted around 5,200 resumes.
The recruitment fair was a key part of this year's Beijing Cybersecurity Week, which began Monday. The number of jobs available increased by more than 500 compared to last year, and the number of jobseekers doubled.
The recruitment, led by Beijing's Cyberspace Administration, will continue online from Friday until Sept 30. The administration has also partnered with the job-seeking platform Boss Zhipin to provide additional cybersecurity-related job listings.
