The Hero Esports Asian Champions League, Asia's first international, multi-title esports tournament hosted by the region's largest esports company Hero Esports based in Shanghai, has recently revealed its first lineup of game titles and a total prize pool of $2 million for this year.

The announced esports game titles include the popular Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, Honor of Kings, Teamfight Tactics, Delta Force and Crossfire, with more others to be unveiled soon, according to the organizer.

Aiming to become the most diverse and accessible esports event in Asia, the league is striving to promote the standardization of global esports and foster a healthy esports ecosystem in the region.

The inaugural league event is set to kick off in the first half of 2025, and the grand finals will be held in Shanghai. Moreover, this year's grand finals will also work with the globally renowned gaming festival DreamHack to offer immersive, interactive and comprehensive experience for esports enthusiasts across Asia. This collaboration will also mark DreamHack's first visit to China.

"The theme of the inaugural league is 'Creating the Impossible', and that's exactly what we aim to achieve. We hope that the league will bring together top esports players from around the world and break impossible records, creating unforgettable experiences for our audiences," said Jonny Wang, chief executive officer of the league and co-founder of Hero Esports.

Xie Fan, president of the league and co-founder of Hero Esports, added: "We envision the league not only as a premier esports event, but also as a new benchmark for international tournaments that inspires others in the industry."
